New Time-Share Location

Amber and Jevon are in the process of replacing their existing single-wide mobile home with a fancy new double-wide. This looks like it could become the prime time-share location for all the Stalkers, Looneys and others that visit from Kentucky.

Of course, we need to figure out how to move Hewitt Lake over to Hoot Owl Road so GrandPa Stalker won't have so far to travel.

Winter Snow Village

And Jeffery thinks I should go to Snowshoe when I have my own winter snow village right here, complete with snowmobiles. The boys have had a great time on their Ranger during this weekend in the snow.

More Florida Photos

Here are a few more of my favorite Florida photos. These are from my most recent trip with Dad to visit Jeff and Randy.

Living down in a valley here in Eastern Kentucky we don't get to see many colorful sunrises or sunsets. Maybe that's why I enjoy them so much when we go to Florida.

Must be the Mustache

One of the best things about my recent trip to Florida was that I got to meet and spend time with some of Jeff 's Grandkids that I hadn't seen before (Jennie is so jealous). Blair and Caitlyn are both precious and the best behaved babies I have seen in a long time.

Caitlyn seemed to take up with me right away. I could always get a little smile from her...

and sometimes a big one!

Randy, on the other hand, had a hard time getting her to warm up to him. Much of the time he got this kind of reaction ...

and sometimes it was worse!

He finally decided that the difference had to be the mustache. Caitlyn's Daddy Jevon has one and her Uncle Clyde had one too.

Randy may not have any Stalker blood in him but he showed that he has been around them long enough. He found a BandAid and 'Ootie-Rigged' his own mustache.

Believe it or not, it worked! She took up with him right away when he put it on. I bet he has her fighting monsters in the back pasture soon. Emily and Caitlyn will have to be his 'Warrior Girls'.
