Ego Surfing

Wikipedia defines Ego Surfing as...

Egosurfing (also called vanity searching, egosearching, egogoogling, autogoogling, self-googling, or simply Googling yourself) is the practice of searching for one's own given name, surname, full name, pseudonym, or screen name on a popular search engine, to see what results appear.[1] It has become increasingly popular with the rise of popular search engines such as Google, as well as free blogging and web-hosting services.

I was drawing a blank on what to post for Jeremy's birthday when an idea occurred to me... What would Jeremy find if he googled his name? I fired up the old computer, went to GOOGLE and typed in ... "JEREMY SCHELL".

Well, it turns out there is a fellow who races ATV's (four wheelers) who is also named Jeremy Schell. He must be pretty popular because Google had links to 1500 stories, almost all of them about him. Feeling a little disappointed I clicked on the link to do an IMAGE search and, sure enough, up popped picture after picture of racing ATV's. I scrolled down the page and was about to give up on my story idea when something caught my eye. There he was, in the middle of all those photos of the ATV racer was our Jeremy, sitting there in his old Dodge pickup truck, grinning like he had just won the Daytona 500.

I bet it won't be long before that other Jeremy Schell has trouble finding his picture in among all the pictures of our Jeremy.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JEREMY !
