We went to Owingsville this past weekend to see Mom and Dad.
Dad's birthday was Saturday so Jennie baked a cake and Luci fixed a huge roast. We got there a little after lunch time and found the Assisted Living Center's staff had prepared a big lunch, complete with a birthday cake for Dad. He was already stuffed like a tick ... both stomachs.

What a thrill!!!! I am so happy to see the Clan revived. By the way my book is part of the presidents new health care plan.
I got so excited that I read all the way through and then made this comment before I realized that I could make one on each entry. Amazing how quick I can forget how things work. I think they had to double their food budget to satisfy Dad and he has been giving the cooks lessons. Such as: Stick a fork in it to see if its done; Biscuits and Gravy are breakfast staples and must be served daily; Pizza is for kids not adults. After three months he has them all pretty well trained.
Dad told me he wanted a chicken that he could go gather some eggs for breakfast. Maybe Luci can make him a chicken coop up there. Also, they might grow some drugs for the people up there. If I go up there and see them in tye dye and flowers in their hair I will know Luci was there.
I called Dad on his birthday and he told me he was stuffed and was trying to get himself ready to eat again. I told him he needed to grow a third stomach.
He told the girls there that he had two stomachs and needed more food to fill them up. The accomadated him by giving him double of everything. Lying paid off for him this time.
