They're here, finally! We've worried about them ever since we heard they were leaving Florida yesterday afternoon. Would they arrive OK? Their safety never left our thoughts.
We couldn't seem to get a cell phone call through to check on them as often as we would have liked. The uncertainty was the toughest part of the waiting. Were they still alright? Would they make it here? What if there was car trouble ? Holiday traffic is always the worst. So many things could go wrong.
We really got scared when we heard they were stopping in Laurel County. We know about Laurel County, we watch WYMT. Their lead story every night is about some crazy happening in Laurel County. That doesn't surprise us 'cause we know a few people who live in Laurel County. We could do nothing but pace nervously while we awaited word they had made it through the badlands of Laurel County.
Finally the word came, they were leaving Laurel County and would be here in a couple of hours. Those two hours seemed to drag on and on, forever. We watched the road to see if we could catch a glimpse of them coming around the bend. They couldn't get here quick enough for us.
They finally arrived and it was worth every anxious moment. Our patience was rewarded at last. Yes, the blueberries got here safely and they are delicious! Some of the biggest ones I've ever seen.
Oh yeah, Jeff and Randy got here OK too.

I am in such a quandry. Blueberries or strawberries or jam. What to eat next. I must have died and gone to heaven.
I got my berries in bags. I had 10 ziplock bags full. I am going to founder the boys on pancakes with them Thanks Jeff and Randy there will not be a berry left.
