Would you all believe Dad will turn 1,000 months old this May 22.?
On May 22, 1933 he turned 100, he was one of the main bread keepers of the family and he also had to go to school. He was eight years and four months old. Back then there was only seven months of school a year not nine. He had plenty of time to garden. He also got to go to school barefoot, dirty and looking a sight just like everybody else. That sure saved a lot of washing clothes, and cleaning up and looking nice.
On September 22, 1942 he turned 200, during this period of time they were building the railroad that when to the mines that he later worked as a coal miner in for over thirty years. He was sixteen years and eight months old.
On January 22, 1950, he turned 300, he got married and was the proud husband and dad to a fine baby boy. He was twenty-five years of age, Happy Birthday!
On May 22, 1958, he is 400, he is now the proud dad to three girls and a boy! During this time we were still living in the little brown house, but he was building on our future white house, which we moved into that following fall. He was thirty-three years and four months old.
On September 22, 1966 at age 500, he is now the proud dad of a five day old baby. The house was getting crowded. Four children in school. The work more then doubled for us girls. He was forty-one years and eight months old. (Guess what, Michelle is exactly half his age now.)
On January 22, 1975, at 600, he is now a father-in-law. He has three children married. He is also a grandfather. He is fifty years of age, Happy Birthday!
On May 22, 1983, at 700, he is now the proud grandfather to eight grandchildren. He also is retired from the mines. He is fifty-eight years and four months old.
On September 22, 1991, at 800, he is now the proud grandfather to ten grandchildren. During this year he suffered the deaths of his brother Teet and sister Thelma. He is sixty-six years and eight months old.
On January 22, 2000, at 900 he is now the proud grandfather to twelve. Later in this year he will become a great grandfather. He is seventy-five years of age. Happy Birthday.
But today he turns 1,000 months old! He will be married for sixty years this November! He still has all five of his children and all twelve of his grandchildren! He also has six great-grandchildren. Sadly, he no longer has any of his immediate family left, he is the last one living for the last five years. Today he is eighty-three years and four months of age.

That is a great story about the timelines of life. I have heard your life is completely different every 10 years.
