Just Like Clyde

CameronClydeWhile Clyde and Dad were here in January, Cameron came over for a visit.

This is how our conversation went:

Grandma:  Cameron, come in here and see your Uncle Clyde. Remember me telling you that you are so much like your Uncle Clyde?

Cameron:  Yelp, is he lazy too?

Speaking of my dear handsome cousin Clyde, who would do anything for anyone if he could, who I love SO much, my car broke down on Road Creek and I called my equally handsome uncle, who would do anything for you if he could, who I love SO much. Long story short I need a car and he said Clyde had a van that he didn't need, that was just in the way. IF the price is right this very, very poor person would buy it if no one else will take it off his hands. I'll start the bid at $99.

$99. DOLLARS. I have seen the Clyde Mobile and it is worth at lest $99.05. Just knowing that the Webmaster himself has been sitting in that same seat for at least 10 Years is worth the five cents. And I have to know. For History's sake. Is that the same van Clyde and Jennie brouht to Fla years ago when it was brand new and Clyde burnt a whole in the front seat with a cigerate and had to ride home with Ted and Bryan? You know the time Ted held the button down on the cb and had Bryan talk trash about his mom for about 30 minutes before he let the button lose and heard his Mom say "BRYAN! I HEARD THAT!"
Is this the same Van. If so, I think Ted would go as high as $99.50 Memories like that are priceless. Right Ted?

Poor old Camey. His is in for a really rough live. No wait a minute. No sisters. He migth have it made in the shade. He was over here Tues night and played with Emily and Blair. They had the best time. They adore him. I have to wonder if that is kinda how Clyde was with Uncle Willie. Blair absoluley loves Cameron. It is so sweet to watch them play together.

Desparate times call for desparate. I called my handsome uncle and he giving me a loan. My bid is now $99.51, a slightly used kleenex (still has at least four good blows left on it) and bobby pin (used only for cleaning nose and ears...it's rude to use your finger in public you know).

Man! If we had age-progression technology we might not tell Cameron's picture from Clyde's. Poor Cammy. Uh.... I mean Wow! Cameron sure has a lot to look forward to! haha! As for the van, I would say you can put no price on the seat with the whole in it. I think it belongs in the stalker-Looney museum of hilarious mis-haps. I can think of a few other objects that belong there as well. Papa's false teeth that were 2 sizes too big, Dad's cat poop house coat, the head of the 20lb. sledge hammer that smashed mom's toe, a wendy's chicken "peter".....and the list could go on. Just an idea, Ole Wonderful Webmaster Uncle Clyde Sir.

Hey, I need something to drive!!! My wonderful uncle is helping me. He dug deep and has added 3 pieces of lint and one dryer sheet that got stuck in his pants. But since it's St. Patrick's day I may just ask for something green to sweeten the pot...with my luck it will be a can of Argo peas!

Hey, I like peas, especially with mashed potatoes and lots of butter. Get your rich uncle to put about $500 with them and we might have a deal.

If he won't help maybe you can call that Elliott Fitzer guy up in New York and tell him you need about 30 seconds with him.

I may have to call that guy but I think I'd come out better if instead of charging by the hour I charged by the pound. That would be 10 seconds.
