Pikeville’s annual Hillbilly Days festival was held again a couple of weeks ago. This photo from the local paper shows part of the crowd that showed up this year. It looks like attendance has rebounded since the festival was almost cancelled because of foul odors back in 2004.
Emerson had so much fun at his First Hillbilly Days a couple of years ago that he insisted on coming back this year. Here he is with his Mom and Dad browsing the midway.
His favorite thing this year was getting to ride several of the rides at the carnival. He even sneaked on at least one of the “big kid” rides. Here he is with Mom and Dad on the Double Ferris Wheel.
He spent the whole day on Saturday riding the rides, playing the games, watching the parade and riding the rides again. He wore out his parents and Grandma Jennie too.

What is that in Emerson's hand. Could it be a can of fart spray? Glad he had fun. It's time he came to visit his Uncle Ted and Aunt Luci again.
Lessons Learned
I don't think his Grandma Jennie would let him have a can of fart spray. She learned that lesson the hard way.
He is carrying a Star Wars light sabre that he won in one of the carnival games.
I thought the same thing. And boy has that Emerson grown.
That looks like a lot of fun. He is getting tall. Maybe his grandpa and grandma will bring him to the pumpkin patch again this year.
I was just looking through my underwear drawer looking for those panties, Now I know where they are. I dont want them back he can keep them.
Yes Michelle it is spring. Time for all Stalkers to change their underwear whether they need to or not.
