We had cake and ice cream for Bryan’s Birthday on Sunday in Lexington. Of course Jennie had everything needed for the mandatory ‘make a wish, blow out the candles, sing Happy Birthday’ tradition. Jennie lit the candles and Bryan began to draw a deep breath. Everyone knows you have to blow out all the candles in one blow for your wish to come true. Well, just as Bryan’s lungs had expanded to their full capacity … Emerson blew out the candles in one quick puff.
I don’t know why Bryan even tries.
