Caitlyn Stories

Amber has been telling me about a few of the cute things Caitlyn has been saying lately.
She is a very sweet child.  She loves her Grandma Phyllis and Grandma 'Bess' (She can't say Jeff)
Here are just a few of the things Amber has shared with me:

  • Bestest Friends Amber and the children, Austin, Caleb, and Caitlyn Jean were watching TV and someone on the show they were watching said the name 'Clyde'.  Immediately Caitlyn jumped up and ran over to see who was on the TV.   She said,  "Hey guys. I have an Uncle Clyde and he's my bestest friend.  I love him."

  • She was over at Grandma Phyllis' today when Grandad pulled up after work.  She did not have a shirt on and her mother told her Grandad was going to see her nickels.  (That is what she calls them.)  She put her hand over her nickels just so Grandad couldn't see them.

  • Traci went over to Amber's and when she got ready to leave, Caitlyn went to see her off.  She stood on the porch and hollered at Traci as she backed out of the drive way.  "It's okay Traci, you can back up now.  They hain't nobody behind you. You are okay."  All the time waving her arms back and fourth letting Traci know it was safe to back out.

  • Amber and the kids went to the beach.  Amber was holding Caleb and Caitlyn's hands as they walked into the water.  A wave came up and knocked Amber down into the water.  Her friend asked if she was okay and she answered that she was but that her mouth and nose were full of saltwater.  Caitlyn spoke up and said, "Don't you know you're supposed to close you mouth in the water."  From that point on each time Amber went into the water, Caitlyn would scream, "Keep you mouth closed Mom when you get in the water."

    Keep your mouth closed Mom.

  • At lunch today she threw her arms around Phyllis and said. "I love you soooo bad, Grandma."
